Your Hypnosis Session

About the Sessions

I work with each client’s personal belief system and have experience with a wide variety of religious backgrounds. During each session, I interview the client for about twenty minutes before the hypnosis experience to review history and agree on goals for the session. The hypnosis part of the session lasts between 20-30 minutes (which will feel like 10 minutes to the client). There is a brief time after hypnosis to discuss what occurred during the session.

Each session experience is unique for each client. Some clients have profound changes in just one session and others see gradual shifts over the course of their program. The most important aspect of a successful hypnotherapy session is the client’s readiness for change. A common myth is that the hypnosis will magically transform you into a new person in one session. The reality, however, is that a shift in consciousness can be a challenge as our subconscious clings to old unhealthy patterns, viewing them as familiar and safe. The use of hypnosis is a short-cut to getting results faster, but only if you are ready for them. I provide an opportunity to help you unlock the blocks to change, so that you can finally let go of those old patterns and create a life that you want to live. Hypnosis is only a tool that is used to access the subconscious and I am your tour guide. You and your mind hold the real magic and have the power to transform any aspect of your life. The more you are willing to put into your sessions, the more you will get out of it.

How many sessions do I need? As you can probably imagine from my above description, each person is unique. I see most people on an average of 3-6 sessions, weekly or every other week (except my smoking clients who quit in one or two sessions). Those who want long-term coaching can continue working with me from 6 months to a year through my Healthy Mind Mentor program.
